Access data from assessments, practice, and instruction in one place with actionable recommendations to support instructional decisions and accelerate learning for all students.

DESE–approved Renaissance assessments for Missouri reading

The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) has two requirements for assessing literacy development—Senate Bill 681 (SB 681) for grades K-5 and Dyslexia Screening for grades K-3. Districts can meet both requirements using Star Assessments for Missouri Reading. This assessment bundle includes Star Early Literacy for early readers, Star Reading for independent readers, and Star CBM (Curriculum Based Measures) Reading. Star Assessments measure the development of key skills and provide easy-to-access data, along with professional learning opportunities to empower and support educators and data teams in making decisions about students with confidence.
