Is there that one book that started you on the path to a lifetime of reading? Show us your inspiration! Incorporate imagery into your artwork that represents the theme “What Inspires You to Read?” This could be inspiration from the joy of sharing stories, the curiosity of exploring the world, the wonder of imagination, or the beauty of personal experiences.

Prizes

Five talented young artists will have their work showcased:

$250.00

One winner from each grade-level bracket (K–Grade 2, Grade 3–5, Grade 6–8, Grade 9–12.

$500.00

One overall contest winner whose work will be featured on the cover of What Kids Are Reading.
