We’re excited to share that myON has received the Research-Based Design Product Certification from Digital Promise, in recognition of the strong research base that supports digital reading on the myON platform. We’re also putting the finishing touches on a new student audio recording experience in myON to support oral reading fluency, which will be available in August.
In addition, myON has great new content to keep your readers engaged this summer. This includes over 100 new titles across the Core Collection, Third Party Publishers, and World Languages Collection.
New to the myON Core Collection
We’re happy to bring you more than 50 new Capstone titles in the Core Collection. As our Core Collection partner, Capstone perfectly encapsulates the Renaissance mission to accelerate learning for all. With dozens of great Capstone series for all age ranges, reading levels, interests, and cultures, we’re proud to incorporate even more diverse content into the Core Collection.
This quarter, the focus is on increasing the Core Collection’s Spanish content. Highlighted titles include Henry ayuda a lavar ropa (Henry Helps with Laundry), La verdad acerca de las hadas (The Truth About Fairies), Bailando tap (Tap Dancing), and La pandemia de gripe de 1918 (The 1918 Flu Pandemic).
New to the Third Party Publisher Collections
Two collections from Harper Collins are available on myON. The Harper Collins: Early Elementary Phonics Collection focuses on decodables, while the Harper Collins: Upper Elementary Fiction Collection focuses on high-interest chapter books for elementary students. Both collections include new titles for students to choose from, including The Sun and the Moon, I Spy Fly, A Day Out, and Selim Hassan the Seventh and the Wall.
New to the World Languages Collection
We’re also excited to announce that Vietnamese has been added to the myON World Languages Collection. This collection includes 30 Capstone titles, each available in five languages (English, Spanish, Mandarin, Welsh, and Vietnamese), with more on the way. This collection is perfect for schools or districts with a wide variety of languages spoken within their student population.
