At Renaissance, we’re focused on making efficient and effective solutions for teachers and are equally committed to enhancing the student experience. Listed below are two myON enhancements that will help boost student engagement and streamline teacher workflows.
Unified book reader and recorder
myON’s book reader and book recorder are now combined to create a more seamless experience for students. Integrating the book reader and recorder gives students access to both features within the same screen, allowing them to easily move between reading a book and recording themselves, eliminating the need to choose between reading or recording to start a session. As students read, they can record their voice with the option to pause, replay, or edit their recordings.
The integration of the Book Reader and the Book Recorder accommodates all learning styles, promoting better engagement and helping students to better focus on their reading practice.
Modernized Teacher Activity dashboard
We recently enhanced several features on the Teacher Activity dashboard, reflecting the need for a more streamlined teacher experience. Updates include the following:
- All student reading data—Time Spent Reading, Books Finished, and Pages Read—are now combined under the Reading tab so teachers can easily access student insights and monitor progress more efficiently
- The Progress bar is visually easier to see and read, helping teachers to quickly assess student progress
- A print button is now included on the Teacher Activity dashboard to easily print out student data
New third-party publisher content in myON
