In 2020, Renaissance introduced Star CBM Reading (K–6) and Star CBM Math (K–3): direct, one-on-one assessments that measure the essential foundations of student development in reading and mathematics in English.
We’re now excited to introduce the latest addition to the Renaissance assessment portfolio: Star CBM Lectura. Rooted in the goal of equity and with the vision of a biliteracy assessment tool, we collaborated with experts to create an assessment that measures students’ literacy development in Spanish. Star CBM Lectura provides reliable, authentic measures that truly reflect K–6 students’ literacy development, including measures that are most predictive of learning to read in Spanish. It also brings the same high quality, flexible administration options to teachers and students in support of in-person, remote, online, or paper assessment experiences.
If you currently use Star CBM Reading, the Star 360 suite, or the Star Elementary suite, you now have access to Star CBM Lectura at no additional cost.
